December 21: Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, Penske Automotive Group, Detroit Creativity Project and The Motor City NYE, Dropping the D

Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan - For the past 26 years, the Community Foundation has served as a vehicle for donors, volunteers and community members to identify important issues, share ideas and build financial resources to make positive long-term change. Mariam Noland, Community Foundation President, will be talking to Paul W. Smith and Stephen Luigi Piazza to tell everyone how the Community Foundation is helping Detroit right now!

Penske Automotive Group - Penske Corporation and Quicken Loans recently announced that QL will serve as presenting sponsor of both the IZOD IndyCar Series races next summer on Belle Isle. Penske Senior Vice President Bud Denker will talk to the guys about all you can expect from 2013’s bigger and better Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix, tune in tonight and get your race tickets now.

Detroit Creativity Project - Keegan-Michael Key (from Comedy Central’s Key & Peele) and Marc Evan Jackson (actor and comedian) are both originally from the Detroit area, and they both believe that improv and creativity helps you in places more than just the stage and screen. They partnered together to establish the Detroit Creativity Project. This wonderful organization educates children to think quickly, work collaboratively and be creative, all through the art of improv. Listen tonight to hear all the details and how you can help.

The Motor City NYE, Dropping the D - This may not be Times Square, but we sure can party like it is. Tony Piriano, co-owner of downtown Detroit’s Pulse Lounge and creator of Motor City NYE, “Dropping the D,” will tell Paul W. and SLP about this wildly popular New Year’s Eve celebration and what is planned this year. Listen tonight to hear why 20,000 people came to Campus Martius Park last year to watch “the D” drop.
